Timed to Launch of Highly Anticipated, Star-Studded Family Film From the Director of Spy Kids

EDISON, N.J., Aug. 18, 2009 – Take the magic of the movie wherever you go as Majesco Entertainment Company (Nasdaq: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, today announced that Shorts for Nintendo DS™ is available at retail outlets nationwide. The game hits stores the same week as Warner Bros.’ highly-anticipated theatrical release of the same name. The film stars William H. Macy, Leslie Mann, Jon Cryer and James Spader and is directed by Robert Rodriguez, whose past films include the blockbuster Spy Kids franchise and The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl. Now available in stores for the suggested retail price of $19.99, this platformer with classic puzzle elements features 26 replayable levels in three distinct episodes from the movie.

In Shorts, a magical rainbow rock that grants wishes falls from the sky and into the suburb of Black Falls. It is not long before these wishes go awry and chaos ensues. To save the town and defeat the greedy and evil Mr. Black, players take on the role of one of their four favorite characters from the movie — Nose Noseworthy, Loogie Short, Toe Thompson and Helvetica Black — each with their own special jump and unique ability. Players must use the stylus to draw their own platforms to avoid obstacles or as a protective shield while avoiding enemy attacks from booger monsters, bomb shooting crocodiles, sparking robots and more. Additionally, collecting energy balls powers each character’s special ability, while alien friends, giant wasps and pterodactyls help them get to otherwise unreachable areas. With outrageous gameplay and enchanting characters, Shorts makes the perfect companion to the movie!

Developed by Artificial Mind & Movement, Shorts is rated E10+ and is in stores now. For additional information, please visit www.majescoentertainment.com.
