EDISON, N.J., June 9 – Experience fast-paced outdoor competition and the thrills of the Big Top, all from the comfort of home! Majesco Entertainment Company (Nasdaq: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, today announced that Go Play Lumberjacksand Go Play Circus Star for Wii(TM) are available in retail stores nationwide. As the first two games in Majesco’s new Go Play brand, both titles integrate motion-based fun with Wii Balance Board(TM) accessory support and 4 player game play.
“We are excited to launch our new Go Play brand with two solid games that offer unique entertainment experiences for the family at a great price,” said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations. “The millions of Wii Balance Board(TM) owners now have two new ways to take advantage of the innovative play that accessory offers.”
Players let the sawdust fly as they climb, chop, saw and logroll their way to victory in Go Play Lumberjacks! Using the Wii Remote(TM) as the ultimate timber-cutting contest tool, players test their skills through 15 events in five categories, including Axe Throwing, Climbing, Water Events and more. Gamers take on the role of a peg-legged pirate, a nimble ninja and 13 other characters, or they can unlock their own Mii(TM) while earning new pieces of gear. With four-player party competition and Wii Balance Board(TM) compatibility, even friends and family can join in the outdoor fun!
In Go Play Circus Star, players work to wow the crowd with death defying stunts, animal tricks and sleight of hand. To become the star of the circus, players must master 15 authentic events — including Tightrope, Trapeze, Unicycle and Big Cat Taming — through four different venues. Players choose from six stars to start their Big Top careers, earning money and rousing ovations by pulling off ever more daring tricks. The interactive crowd encourages great performances with deafening cheers, but they can just as quickly punish poor performances by pelting players with tomatoes! With guidance from the Ringmaster, players can improve their standing in the circus and unlock additional bonuses on their way to stardom.
Go Play Lumberjacks is rated E for Everyone and Go Play Circus Star is rated E10+ for ages 10 and up. Both games are now available for the suggested retail price of $29.99.
